For its Autumn/Winter 2015 collection, FRISUR takes us to the forgotten northern continent of Arctica.
Arctic whites are combined with a lustrous faux husky fur; a subtle nod to the indigenous cultures of the far north. While materials such as modal, ultra-soft cottons and fine knit wools bring the collection to present day.
Minimalism reigns supreme for AW15. FRISUR employs mono-colour looks and exaggerated proportions to create a statement. Careful colour blocking is also present: cobalt blues are contrasted by dusty mauves and mélange greys. Black fur-finishes add texture to sleek all-black looks.
The Rebekka and Hans pullovers employ a pasted graphic technique that adds a 3-dimensional element to this strict collection.
Exquisite tailoring combined with high quality materials and construction form the foundation for the men’s and women’s collections. As always, the outerwear is fully lined to withstand the harsh northern European climate. The leather shoes and boots are elegantly crafted in Portugal.
FRISUR combines arctic imagery, Scandinavian simplicity, and German functionality to create its most directional collection yet.
